Carlos Tevez claims that he will always support Manchester City when it comes to choosing between the two Manchester clubs. Tevez is one of the few players to have represented both teams.
Regarded as the poor man’s Wayne Rooney, Tevez put in a lot of work on the pitch. He was not especially known for being the best in training, but he always gave his 110% on the pitch. Tevez’ career in England came to an abrupt end after falling out with City, but it appears that he has patched up the differences with the Premier League outfit. When put together, Tevez has scored more than 100 goals for both the Manchester clubs who are intense rivals.
In an interview with Paddy Power mobile, Tevez claimed that he initially struggled to settle at West Ham but managed to get accustomed to life in Manchester once he got a grasp of the language.
He was also successful with both of them by winning titles like the Premier League. No back with Boca Juniors in Argentina, the forward claims that he will always remember his time with City more than anything else. After coming to England in 2007, Tevez played for clubs like West Ham, United, and City before leaving for Juventus.
"When Manchester United play Manchester City, I root for City. To see City go from a neighbour team, if you will, to one of the big clubs in Europe, it makes me proud. I am a City fan. He went to the bathroom and I followed him.At Manchester United it was easier, I understood the language better. Thinking back, the two years I spent at United were wonderful," said Tevez.
